You can tell when you watch Graham work with his customers, that his love of people and his ability to make people feel great has fueled his career success. His natural ability with people, along with a strong entrepreneurial drive, helped Graham start his first business in 1988, then join forces with Tod in 1992 for his biggest artistic venture, the creation of Planet Hair.
As co-owner of Planet Hair, Graham has a passion for education and regularly attends classes, such as the Aveda Institute in London, to keep his skills sharp. He especially enjoys attending business classes with his partners for inspiration. Graham loves to work with all types of curls and textures and shines at unveiling the look, cut, and color that his customers want.

As co-owner and salon manager, Linda is the glue that holds the salon together. She has been an important part of the business since the beginning, helping Tod and Graham develop their dream into reality. Linda doesn’t know a stranger and has a great ability to make everyone feel like they belong at Planet Hair.
She loves being part of such a vibrant entrepreneurial business and frequently attends classes to learn new ways to make the business better for our customers. She enjoys the challenges of growth and working with the team to help them be more successful.
Klay has always known that it was her destiny to work behind the chair; she’s the third generation of stylists in her family. Since hanging out in her mother and grandmother’s salon, Klay has discovered how much she enjoys carrying on the tradition. She loves that she can help change attitudes in the length of time it takes to do a haircut and has found that bringing joy to others brings joy to her.
Attending classes in the latest color and cutting techniques, including men’s clipper cuts, inspires Klay to modify the hottest trends into looks that can be incorporated into everyday wear. Klay loves the personal relationships she forms with people, especially in building trust with them. She believes that to build trust she must be trustworthy, making people feel comfortable in an environment they enjoy and walk out feeling better.

Jessie grew up in a creative household, where crafting sculptures and other art projects were a normal part of life. Working through high school, with a reputation for being artistic and eccentric, Jessie discovered where she truly belonged when she graduated and began beauty school.
Starting her career in an upscale men’s grooming salon, Jessie quickly learned how to do men’s cuts differently, using techniques that customize the cut to the shape of the head. Looking to expand her repertoire, Jessie moved on to a full-service salon, where she received an extensive education in special effects coloring techniques, like ombre and balayage, and makeup and hairstyling for special occasions. Jessie loves working in a career where she can make people feel good while using her artistic and creative talents. Jessie believes she’s found her niche at Planet Hair, with coworkers that feel the same way, and inspire and teach her to be a better artist every day.

From styling her friend’s hair for dances when she was growing up, Shauna’s favorite work is creating fabulous hairdos for special occasions. Attracted to Planet Hair because of her love of learning, Shauna attends advanced classes to direct our guests to their best new look.

A “natural” blonde herself, Cami has always been drawn to blonding and specializes in making hair colors lighter. She enjoys working with all hair textures, helping people make the most of their naturally curly locks. To Jill, a trip to the salon is about so much more than getting your hair done – it’s the whole experience. From the minute guests sit down in Jill’s chair, she focuses on helping people feel extraordinary. She doesn’t rush through the consultation or stress-relieving treatment, slowing down to listen and get a complete understanding of what fits the guest’s personality and lifestyle. With strong attention to detail, Jill designs styles with simple perfection and loves using hair color to enhance a great haircut. Styling hair is another of Jill’s strengths, and she has fun finishing her work with stunning styles her guests wouldn’t do themselves at home.
Jill will look familiar to our long-time guests. She worked with us in the very beginning, then moved away and started a family. Now that her children are raised, Jill is excited to be back at Planet Hair. She feels she’s come full-circle, back to where she started, and loves the training and support we offered to refresh her skills. We’re thrilled she’s back!

Shena used to look at fashion as an inspiring hobby and never expected it would become her career. While following a career working with shelter animals, she eased job pressures through creative outlets, including modeling on the runway and in print. Shena’s relationship with Planet Hair started from modeling in our fashion shows and photo shoots. When she got burned out in animal care, Shena found a lower-stress part-time job as a receptionist at a local cosmetology school. As Shena watched the students growing new skills, she decided to pursue her love of fashion, aesthetics, and beauty in a new career.
Shena loves playing with color, especially hue blending, and creating volume in the hair during styling. She’s having fun playing with perms and discovering new ways to work them into today’s looks. Most of all, Shena enjoys the variety, connections, and conversations and the opportunity to continue to grow and learn in her new profession.

Rebecca has always loved people and art and is over the moon to be in a career that’s a blend of both. With a love of people that is delightfully obvious, she believes that a salon visit should be a caring experience and creates a loving space for people to be who they are. Being part of a culture of creative people who care about their work and each other makes this a happy place for Rebecca.
With an affection for being surrounded by art, Rebecca feels right at home at Planet Hair from working at the Wichita Art Museum and teaching art classes for children before finding her dream career. Rebecca collaborates with our guests and uses artist principles to create works of art with hair ranging from classic to avant-garde.

With a love for science, chemistry, and geometry, Eleanor craved a career combining 3-dimensional art form designs with human interaction. With her knowledge of geometry, Eleanor uses mathematical principles to create complicated cuts and trend-setting shapes. Eleanor’s passion for chemistry and art theory gives her insight into how to use color to make haircuts pop.
Naturally curious, Eleanor looks at style consultations as an opportunity to gather clues about what our guests want. She translates these desires into technical terms, confirming an understanding of what was requested to invent a look that’s unique to each person. Eleanor has lots of experience wrangling and teaching children and enjoys giving them haircuts, even the wiggly ones.
In her spare time, she develops costumes and brings characters to life for Ren Fair and cosplay events. She thinks of herself as a huge nerd and has fun geeking out with our guests over her peculiar interests.

Sineka’s favorite part of working with Planet Hair is seeing how beautiful a fabulous new hairdo makes our guests feel. Questioning her own body image in the past, Sineka started working in salons to help her reframe ideas around appearance and spread this confidence to others.
A trained cosmetologist, who enjoys the customer service part of what we do, Sineka is able to consult with guests that have questions about making appointments to help them understand what to expect from their service, especially with all the new complicated color techniques. She is passionate about service and believes that being genuinely caring is the baseline of our front desk service.
Sineka is our Aveda Ambassador. She’s the first to learn all the Aveda news, product releases, and how to use the latest items to share with our team. She is excited to have a more immersive experience with Aveda and is excited to answer questions and help you discover products you’ll love.
