Moving Forward
4.23.20
Just like everyone else, we’re waiting to hear how and when we’ll be able to reopen. We’re closely monitoring the recommendations for our industry and community. Protecting the health and wellbeing of our team and our guests are our greatest concern. In the meantime, we want to keep you informed of our plans.
KWCH TV did a story on this yesterday, and interviewed Graham. Here’s a link, in case you haven’t seen it.
We’re hoping to reopen as soon as the directive is lifted and are working on a plan to safely take care of everyone when we get back to work. Currently, the directive is set to expire on May 3rd, but we’ll have to see what happens. We’ll do our best to get everyone taken care of as soon as we can.
Here’s what we’re planning:
Safe Spacing: To help us practice safe distancing, our stylists’ schedules will be slightly different when we reopen. We’ll be working in shifts, so fewer people are in the salon at one time. We are asking people not to bring anyone else along to their appointment.
Checking In for Appointments: Rather than coming into the salon to check-in for your appointment, we’ll be asking guests to check in over the phone and wait in their cars until their stylist is ready.
Increased Sanitation: Before reopening, we’ll have the salon thoroughly disinfected by an outside company specializing in this service. We’ll continually sanitize all the surfaces, following CDC recommendations.
Safety Precautions: All our stylists will be wearing masks during services. We appreciate our guests doing the same. Here’s why:
When we hear more about when we can definitely reopen, we’ll start calling to reschedule the appointments that were missed when we were temporarily closed. Once we’ve honored the appointments already on our books, we’ll be able to book new appointments.
We ask that when we can reopen, please be gentle with us. We’re going to work as hard as we can to everyone in as fast as we can. We’re missing you too! We ask everyone to be flexible about appointment times in the beginning until we can get caught back up.
Thanks for your understanding. We hope to see you soon!
