We Love to Learn!

How have we managed to stay current throughout our 26 years in business? It’s because of our love of learning! We’re constantly bringing in leading educators of our industry to our salon for next level, advanced training in cutting and coloring to stay up with the latest trends and techniques.

In 2018 we brought in:

• Tro Trujillo Master Barber for men’s hair cuts
• Gino Chapman for women’s hair cuts
• Dusty Rhode  for creative cutting

We also attend group classes outside the salon, and travel to other cities, to stay motivated, inspired, and educated.

In 2018 we attended color classes by the renowned Alberto Davis on blonding and semi-permanent color.

In September some of us went to Aveda’s Congress Festival, an international conference held in Minneapolis, where Aveda salons from all over the world get together to celebrate and experience all things Aveda.

Color has always been one of our specialties, and this year Suzie completed the rigorous certification process to become an Aveda In-Salon Hair Color Educator. Now we have our own in-house color specialist to help our team keep up with trends and be hair color superstars.

We’re already getting the jump on education in 2019. This month we brought in women’s cut specialist Susan Ford, and color expert Jeffery Scott to show us what will be hot this spring and summer.
